The Twilight Harmony Quartet!
We had our first gig on Friday May 11th, 2012. We were honored to play at the wedding reception of Stephanie and Forrest. It was a beautiful evening!
Members:
First Violin: Kayleen Pemberton
Kayleen has played violin since the age of 10. She has been teaching the Suzuki Method for six years, and loves it! Playing with quartets, at weddings, is one of her favorite ways to use her talent. Kayleen also performs with the Herriman Community Orchestra. She is excited to be working with the other amazing musicians in The Twilight Harmony Quartet!
Second Violin: Nisha Harman
Nisha began fiddling around on the violin at 11 years old and enjoys teaching and performing many styles of music. She is thrilled to be the 2nd violinist in the Twilight Harmony Quartet and to be playing with such wonderfully talented ladies. In her free time Nisha loves spending time with her friends and family in the great outdoors.
Viola: Rebekah Leavitt
Bekah is going to Copper Hills as a sophomore next year. She plans to be in the Chamber Orchestra, which has won 2nd place at a state level. She violin in between 3rd and 4th grade, switching to viola at the end of 6th grade. She was principal violist in her middle school orchestra, as well as Herriman Community Orchestra. In her freshman year she made State solo and ensemble - the first 9th grader to do so from her high school. She is currently studying with Maria Baldwin, and has had master classes with professional violist Dr. LeAnn Morgan. She is really excited to play in this quartet and can't wait to play for your next occasion.
Cello: Theresa Sanford
Theresa has been playing the cello for 20 some odd years, though her degree is in secondary education in psychology and math. She loves playing quartet music, in pits and in full orchestras. When not playing the cello she loves to decorated fancy cakes, crochet, perform on stage in musicals, and spending fun time with her 3 awesome kids and husband.
